The separate RSS, Subscribe and Register options can be confusing, so here is what each is about:

1. The RSS icon sets you up  to see lists of our posts automatically in an RSS reader you use.
2. The Subscribe icon (with email input required) sets you up to receive notices by email of new posts on this blog
3. The Register link (requires your email) enables you to read content on this blog that from time-to-time is available only to registered users.
